Ways to Move Your Memoir or Nonfiction Book Forward

Strategic guidance, steady support, and shared momentum—at every stage.

Thoughtful Support for Complex Stories

There’s more than one way to move a book forward. The right support depends on where you are now—and what decisions you need help making.

All of my services are grounded in the same approach: strategic guidance that helps you make smart decisions about your book, so your time, energy, and effort are well spent.

Every client begins with a free Discovery Call. This call helps us get oriented, clarify what you need most right now, and decide which next step will be most useful.

Not Sure Where to Start?

Most writers begin with a Strategic Guidance Session to clarify direction and decide what matters most now.

From there, some choose a Book Blueprint Intensive to set a strong foundation before writing further. Others move into Momentum-Building Coaching or The Author Studio for ongoing support as the book evolves.

The Discovery Call helps us choose the right path—so you’re not guessing.

Choose the Support That Fits Your Book

Strategic Guidance Session

A Strategic Guidance Session is a single, focused working session designed to help you gain clarity on one key decision or set of related questions about your book.

This is not ongoing coaching. It’s a high-level intervention for writers who need perspective, direction, and a clear next step right now.

If you want to stop circling and start moving forward with confidence, this session gives you direct access to my training and experience in real time.

In our 60 minutes together, you’ll bring the questions that feel most pressing. We’ll clarify what matters most at this stage, identify the decision in front of you, and determine the next right move. The goal isn’t to do everything. It’s to make the right call.

You’ll leave knowing what to do next — and why.

What’s included:

  • One 60-minute recorded working session

  • A strategic conversation centered on your biggest questions

  • A short written recap of key insights and next steps within 48 hours

Book Blueprint Intensive

The Book Blueprint Intensive is a short, concentrated series designed to set the foundation for your book so you know you’re moving in the right direction. This process follows Steps 1-11 of Jennie Nash’s Blueprint for a Book.

This option is ideal if you want to clarify your focus, define your reader, and make key structural decisions before writing further.

Over three sessions across three weeks, we’ll establish the core elements that shape the rest of the book: your organizing thread, your ideal reader, your structure, and your plan for moving forward.

You’ll leave with a clear foundation, so drafting no longer feels like guesswork.

What’s included:

  • Three 60-minute recorded sessions over three weeks
  • Between-session email support to keep the work moving
  • A one-page Next Steps Roadmap (written) with your priorities and sequence, so you know exactly what to do after we finish.

By the end, you’ll have:

  • A clarified book focus and organizing thread
  • An ideal reader profile
  • Clear next steps

This foundational work helps you build the right book before investing months in the wrong version.
